Job Description:

Worldwide Greeter is seeking a professional, dependable, and hospitality-driven Airport Concierge & Operations Coordinator to support premium airport Meet & Assist services at Nashville International Airport (BNA). This position supports corporate travelers, VIP guests, families, groups, international passengers, and private travelers through personalized airport assistance, operational coordination, and professional customer service. The Airport Concierge & Operations Coordinator serves as an on-site representative of Worldwide Greeter and supports airport arrivals, departures, connections, and traveler assistance services. Responsibilities include welcoming prearranged guests, monitoring flights and operational updates, providing terminal navigation, maintaining communication with dispatch and transportation providers, and coordinating the transition between the airport and prearranged ground transportation.

The ideal candidate is organized, polished, detail-oriented, discreet, and comfortable managing time-sensitive traveler requirements. Candidates must maintain situational awareness and communicate professionally with travelers, chauffeurs, airline personnel, travel coordinators, executive assistants, airport personnel, and Worldwide Greeter operations.

Team members must maintain working knowledge of BNA's terminal, airline check-in areas, baggage claim facilities, passenger pickup locations, ground transportation areas, airport amenities, and applicable passenger procedures.

Worldwide Greeter personnel must comply with Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority requirements and applicable federal aviation-security requirements. BNA's current Rules and Regulations prohibit unauthorized entry into posted or access-controlled airport areas. Personnel authorized for AOA access must have the appropriate identification badge or be properly escorted by an authorized airport employee. BNA's Badging Office also requires security background checks to be completed before applicable SIDA training. Nashville International Airport | BNA

This position may require extended standing and walking, early morning or evening assignments, weekends, holidays, and schedule adjustments resulting from delayed or changed flights.

Previous experience in hospitality, concierge services, airport operations, transportation, hotels, airlines, luxury services, or customer service is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome prearranged guests at Nashville International Airport with professionalism and hospitality.
  • Coordinate Meet & Assist services for arriving, departing, connecting, and international travelers.
  • Assist travelers throughout airport public-access and other areas authorized for the assigned service.
  • Monitor flights, delays, cancellations, gate changes, baggage information, and operational updates.
  • Maintain communication with Worldwide Greeter dispatch, chauffeurs, clients, travel coordinators, and executive assistants.
  • Assist guests with terminal navigation, airline check-in guidance, baggage claim, airport wayfinding, lounge coordination when applicable, and passenger services.
  • Maintain current knowledge of BNA terminal procedures, airline locations, amenities, transportation pickup areas, and passenger facilities.
  • Coordinate professional handoffs between arriving travelers and their prearranged ground transportation.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to delays, baggage issues, itinerary changes, and other time-sensitive circumstances.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when assisting corporate executives, VIP guests, and private travelers.
  • Maintain accurate operational updates through Worldwide Greeter systems and communication platforms.
  • Comply with Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority security, identification, access-control, and escort requirements.
  • Never enter a restricted airport area without the appropriate authorization, badge, or authorized escort.
  • Follow instructions from airport operations, TSA, CBP, law enforcement, airline personnel, and other authorized officials.
  • Perform additional operational support duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong professionalism, discretion, reliability, and hospitality mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced airport environment.
  • Ability to remain calm during flight disruptions and time-sensitive situations.
  • Comfortable using smartphones, flight-tracking tools, maps, messaging applications, and scheduling platforms.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to assist with luggage when necessary and physically able.
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
  • Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and delayed-flight assignments.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to Worldwide Greeter grooming standards.
  • Ability to satisfy applicable BNA background screening, identification, training, badging, or security requirements when required for assigned duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One or more years of hospitality, concierge, customer service, airport, airline, hotel, transportation, or travel-industry experience.
  • Familiarity with Nashville International Airport and the Nashville hospitality market.
  • Experience assisting corporate executives, VIP travelers, groups, or international passengers.
  • Previous airport or luxury hospitality experience.
  • Additional language proficiency is a plus.
