Job Description:

Worldwide Greeter is seeking a professional, dependable, and hospitality-driven Airport Concierge & Operations Coordinator to provide premium traveler assistance at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).

The Airport Concierge & Operations Coordinator serves as an on-site representative of Worldwide Greeter and supports prearranged travelers through airport arrivals, departures, terminal navigation, baggage claim, flight monitoring, traveler communication, and ground transportation coordination.

FLL serves a significant mix of domestic and international travelers as well as passengers connecting with South Florida's cruise, hotel, resort, and business markets. Team members must be comfortable assisting corporate travelers, VIP guests, international passengers, families, groups, and cruise travelers while maintaining professionalism and clear operational communication.

Personnel must comply with Broward County Aviation Department requirements and applicable TSA, airline, CBP, terminal, security, curbside, and ground transportation procedures. Meet & Assist services must be conducted within public-access or otherwise authorized areas. Restricted or secured airport access requires the appropriate authorization and credentials.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome prearranged travelers at approved airport meeting locations.
  • Coordinate domestic and international arrivals and departures.
  • Monitor flights, delays, cancellations, gates, baggage information, and operational updates.
  • Assist with terminal navigation, baggage claim, passenger wayfinding, and airport services.
  • Coordinate cruise, hotel, corporate, and private traveler transportation handoffs.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, chauffeurs, clients, and travel coordinators.
  • Respect CBP-controlled areas for international arrivals.
  • Work only within public-access or properly authorized airport areas.
  • Follow Broward County Aviation Department, TSA, airline, airport security, and law-enforcement instructions.
  • Maintain traveler confidentiality and professional appearance.
  • Perform additional traveler assistance and operational duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong professionalism and hospitality mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy airport environment.
  • Comfortable using smartphones, flight-tracking tools, communication systems, and scheduling platforms.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to assist with luggage when appropriate.
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
  • Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and delayed flights
  • Professional appearance and adherence to company grooming standards.
  • Ability to complete applicable FLL security or credentialing requirements when required for assigned duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Airport, airline, hospitality, cruise, hotel, resort, concierge, luxury transportation, or customer-service experience.
  • Familiarity with Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
  • Experience assisting international travelers, corporate travelers, VIP guests, families, or groups.
  • Additional language proficiency is a plus.
